Elektro Vroomen (Pty) Ltd. was established on the 1st June 1959 as an company. Prior to this, the company was involved in electrical contracting and reticulation. The company consists of branches in Bloemfontein, Kimberley and in Kathu, with a pre-packing branch operating under the name "Homeglow" also situated in Bloemfontein.The company currently employs in excess of 100 employees, many of whom are with the company for 30 years and longer. A large and diversified range of electrical equipment and lighting is carried at all branches, ranging from the normal domestic electrical accessories to underground cable, switchgear, motors, test equipment, domestic and industrial lighting and specialised industrial components.
