FocusOnPurpose is a Gospel-Centered Coach who coaches according to Biblical principles. In her walk with Christ, René found herself floundering in many areas as she became more and more aware of a gaping divide between Christian jargon and the application of that jargon. People would tell her to ‘have faith’, but what was this faith? How did she know she had faith and not presumption? How could she differentiate between God’s voice and the many other voices that pulled her in opposing directions? ... How does she walk this walk of faith? God has taken her on a very intense journey and has led her into an understanding of many aspects of this walk, and in the process has brought her into the rest Jesus spoke of when He said, "Come to Me, all who are burdened and heavy laden, and I will give you rest..." After spending more than 15 years in constant mental and emotional exhaustion, René now enjoys a life of deep, satisfying rest, unexplainable peace and inexpressible joy, that remains even in the midst of trials. Much of Christianity today is little more than tradition and religion - we do not know relationship with Jesus Christ! Having walked the road is has become René's strong desire to support and encourage God’s people into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ so that their lives can become a living testimony to a living all-powerful God.
