Pro Active Trucking and Movers (PTY) LTD Claimed

This company misrepresented itself as being the courier, whereas the work for pick up and drop off was actually done by third parties. None of the companies took accountability for the mess of a relocation from Durban to Cale Town. Looking at other similar reviews for this company, I highly doubt that Pro Active Trucking actually does ANY of their own moves. You never know who’s actually going to take custody of your property (at collection, in transit, or delivery). BE WARNED

I used this moving company on the 13th July 2022. It's now the 22nd of September 2022 and my 60 year old mom's items are still not delivered. She is an emotional wreck because of this company. Every time I call them, the CEO (Justin) keeps saying it will be delivered. It's just lies upon lies. I've used legal aid and served them a letter of demand, which they are completely not phased about. It's been past the 2 weeks since the letter was sent to them. No response, no call backs. I fear this is adversely affecting my mom's health. She has already lost a child (my sister), whos items and ashes are amongst the items that these movers are keeping ransom. I will continue using the law to make this comapny accountable for their actions.

My furniture was picked up on 26 July after I paid a total of R10800 for a move from Jhb to Cape Town for a shared load. After 7 days nothing,then we were told to pay an additional R4000 for extra cubige as their incompetent staff quoted incorrectly. Our goods were then supposed to be released. Then it was incorrectly delivered to Pretoria and an express truck would get it to us. Now they want an additional R6000 to release our goods and want to charge me R250 storage fees per day as I refuse to pay for something I paid for already. I asked for pics of my stuff and they sent a pic of someone else's stuff. It's 2 months now and they still trying to extort money from us. Proactive Trucking and movers are criminals,liars, extortionists, scammers and thieves.

Pro active trucking is a criminal company and i have taken legal action against for theft and fraud. They must provide my Furnitures and refund the R15,700 i paid to them. I have all the invoices and proof of payment to back my claim. You can't hold on to all my properties when i have made complete payment to you, that is theft and fraud and you must face the full wrath of law. I will attach proof of my conversation to this mail. I have all the proofs both telefonically, chats and payments on my phone. If you ever see these , know that i am coming for you and your fraudulent company with full force. You can rip me off my hard earnings and investment over the years. But everyone out there needs to know the kind of company you run and stay far from it. I wish i read all these reviews before dealing with this fraudulent company. Apparently, the reviews on Hellopeter are all fake because i went with the review there and i was misled. Since 30th July, pro active trucking came to pick my Furnitures in Midrand to deliver to Cape Town, up till this moment of writing i haven't seen anything. They keep extorting more money, last time i paid R3,700 that wasn't on the invoice and now they came up with another R5,200 from nowhere regarding my car. I was quoted R4000 to deliver my car to cape town. After telling my car was already in Cape Town, they said the trucking company they used charged them R9200. i went to the trucking company yesterday to get more information, then i found out they are just like an agent and they haven't paid a dime to the trucking company. They also said my car is still at their premises in Joburg, i had to tell them not to release my car to this criminals and i have prove that it's my car.

Please people, DO NOT use these people. They collected our furniture on 5th July 2022, we were told delivery takes 5-7 working days, today is 26th July 2022, and no furniture. The owner, apparantly a God fearing liar either dont answer his phone, or spins you a story whilst being rude, same with his so called "operations manager" who cant even manage a p*ss up in a brewary. Everyday we get different stories from different people. Also refuse to give us updates on whereabout of their truck or adress of any apparant delivery depo's, our furniture is gone!!!! There are numerous other client who have had losses up to R140 000 and simply being laughed at buy the owner. We officially opened a case of theft and fraud against them today

A nightmare experience!!! More than 5 hours late on day of collection. Goods eventually collected some 7 hours later. Nearly missed my flight. They abandoned my car and lied about its whereabouts for 3.5 weeks. I eventually traced my car. Both Carel (sales) and Jade (reception) unwilling to assist. Director Pieter slammed phone down on me. Delivery crew refused to check items/boxes with me - now many are missing. They even tried to slip in a charge of R4390.00 for "wrapping" which I did not request nor was quoted on. Engage this company at your peril !!!

Please do not make use of this company! Vert bad service!!!!

Be warned people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheapest for a reason. Im going to court with this company. If there are any other people that has beeb done in out there im willing to fund your case against Pro active trucking.

please never ever use them.... they are just brokers.... they used peters mini removals... check out the complaints... please dont use them, Cyril sounds all nice and well on the phone, beats the price of your current quote... then WHAM!, they hit you with no communication, late collections delayed deliveries, storage fees, then you get called to pay balance in cash to the driver... they refused us to look at our items upin delivery and forced us to pay the balance, then they shut the truck and drive off.. making as if you made them late for other deliveries and then after making the payment they extort more money from you for redelivery fees... both owners of above named companies are arrogant and rude... stay clear... way clear. Check out hello peter. they even fake their own reviews.. you can easily see it...
