EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA, Gauteng Branch is an organisation that renders services to people with epilepsy and other disabilities in Gauteng Province. Their motto is “Changing obstacles into true potential”.Their services include counselling, advice, information, support groups, community development, SMME development, employment in protective workshops, skills development and self-help project development.They have two residential care facilities which offer rehabilitation and frail care services, a stimulation centre and two protective workshops. In addition, they advocate for the rights of people with epilepsy and offer education, training and awareness programmes about epilepsy.
