The current owners of Nino's purchased the outlet from them and soon turned the shop into the center of attraction in the area. Everyone from executives through to students enjoys a wholesome meal, good coffee and great conversation in a European styled pavement café ambience. This caught everyone's attention and within Nino's being the only such institution and with the wonderful South African weather, the concept succeeded in becoming an institution quickly.One of the original Nino's, Gilberto Bompani rejoined the outlet and with his creativity and love of food was instrumental in the creation of the Nino's brand.
