S P C A (Roodepoort) Unclaimed

This SPCA runs an extensive educational program, with very readable, appealing pamphlets on caring for animals. There is an active hospital as well; sterilization is performed in the morning on cats and dogs belonging to members of the public who cannot afford standard veterinary fees, and ill or injured animals are treated here in the afternoon, when vaccination and deworming are also performed. Stray, lost or abandoned animals are housed in the Roodepoort SPCA shelter.
