The 2017-annual conference of the South African Society for Basic and Clinical pharmacology (SASBCP) will be held on 2-4th October 2017 at the Faculty of health sciences, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein. The conference will cover a wide range of topical issues, thereby exposing participants to the latest developments in pharmacology and related fields, hence the theme ‘Advances in pharmacological sciences’. The topics include herbal or traditional medicine, drug metabolism and Transport, Drug regulation, pharmacovigilance, pharmaco-epidemiology, pharmaco-economics, pharmacology education, tropical medicine, non-communicable disease/disorders, infectious disease, bioinformatics, pharmacogenetics, toxicology, neuropsychopharmacology, general basic and clinical pharmacology, analytical pharmacology, and special topics in pharmacy and pharmaceutics.
