Are you worried by the Headlines: "Maths Marks Down", "More Pupils fail Maths and Science", start taking action now. Most children who struggle with maths at High School do so because they have not been remediated in primary school, important links have been missed and they have fallen behind. Most children CAN do maths!!! I believe that when a child regains confidence with numbers, they start to blossom and even begin to love maths. It is my passion to bring back that confidence and to see children flourish in the classroom. I do this by analysing their "gaps" or "missing links", remediating them through repetitive exercises, and challenging them to use their new skills. I also coach pupils to pass tests and exams in Maths, Maths Literacy, Physical Sciences and Life Science. Lessons are of an hour's duration, individual and can be given either at your home, aftercare centre or at my own home in Kenmare, Krugersdorp. I was a High School teacher for 25 years and enjoy teaching children of all ages. Its never to soon to start, prepare your child for numeracy before he or she starts school, the sooner problems are detected, the easier they are to fix! Lynda
