Bergland Tuine (Pty) Ltd was founded by Mr. Gerrie Roos in 1970 and is one of the very first instant lawn and turf producers in the Southern hemisphere. The farm is situated in Delporton, Krugersdorp, adjacent to the Percy Steward Water Works, which is an ideal setting surrounded by koppies with a northern slope, which protects the instant lawn against the burning Southern wind and making the farm frost-free. The result is lush green grass even during the winter months. Since the beginning, Bergland has produced top quality turf of international standard throughout the year, and built its reputation as the best quality turf supplier in Gauteng. Demands and trends demanded by the industry, as well as diversification led to other, complimentary and interesting business units. These units all form part of our fabulous company.
