Start here!The Oasis Institute has identified a need to create Orphans, Vulnerable Children and Youth (OVC&Y) fund in South Africa which will cater for the needs of OVC&Y beyond the age of 18 years. The Oasis Institute has positioned itself to address the existing gap within OVC&Y sector, which currently limits the support of OVC&Y to below the age of 18.Age does not in itself:1. change the circumstances or improve the conditions, which OVC&Y have to deal with after the age of 18. 2. automatically enable them to achieve sustainable livelihoods.3. create an enabling environment to support them in becoming economic participating members of the society and model citizens.
