Sima has remained on the same premises ever since.Sima Turners now has extensive capacities and capabilities in its workshops for precision turning, milling, drilling and grinding to high precision tolerances After 17 years the workshop floor space became restrictive due to ever increasing orders both new and repetitive, and thus in may 1981, 1000m2 of new premises were bought outright, and Sima enjoyed a modernisation upgrade to its machine equipment and workshop facilities

SIMA Turners (Pty) Ltd, a division of the SIMA Group of Companies, was formed in October 1964 by Marcel Gaberthuel, who has retired in 2003, and Roland Gaberthuel has taken over as Managing Director ever since.
