Rock Lodge Guest House first opened its doors on 26 August 2002, which was just in time for Johannesburg’s hosting of the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development. Since this key conference, Rock Lodge was fortunate to host many guests who joined with South Africa in celebrating events such as the 2003 Cricket World Cup, 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, 2009 British & Irish Lions Rugby Tour and not to forget the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
