Fireworx Media is a based distributor of premium South African films and documentaries around social issues and transformation, supplying to schools, NGOs and bookstores predominantly.  Fireworx Media's product portfolio includes works on political leaders like Nelson Mandela, Tsietsi Mashini and Chris Hani.  We also have adult and youth documentary series on HIV Aids, as well as other titles.

Our television programmes have been broadcast by Arte, Al Jazeera, Sundance Channel, BBC, PBS, ZDF, NHK, MNET, SABC, amongst others. Our films have been funded by private equity, institutional funders and broadcasters. These include the Industrial Development Bank (IDC) the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), ITVS, the Sundance Documentary fund, Fonds Sud, The SA Department of Trade and Industry, Spier Films, the IDFA Bertha Fund, the Hot Docs Blue Ice Fund, the Hubert Bals Fund, Sonke Gender Justice Network, World Vision, NORAD, Open Society and others.
