  In September 2015, Casarredo officially opens its doors to their new ‘Casa’ in Kramerville, Sandton. Kramerville has in recent years transformed from a mostly industrial area to the hub of décor and design. This refurbishment of the existing building was a project that brothers and owners Darren and Lance Postan would partner up with the best in the industry. This made for the perfect match in creating a stylistic home for Casarredo. Today, Casarredo is the largest Italian design and décor showroom in South Africa, stocking luxury and trendy international brands, namely Fendi Casa, Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors, Kettal, Bonaldo, Gamma, Pietro Constantini, Fiam, Fontanaarte, Gallotti & Radice, Penta and the list keeps growing. Inside the new showroom, the beautiful furniture displays accentuate masterful Italian designer silhouettes, renowned for their focus on quality and artisanship, utilising fabrics and leathers created from the finest materials, meticulously applied and reflecting premium finishes. Darren and Lance Postan started their careers in the Finance world, before making the move to the furniture industry. Believing in their creative ability and business acumen, Darren and Lance purchased a small furniture retailer called Casarredo. After spending seven years in the industry, they were able to identify a gap in the market, whereby in 2009 they made the move to the northern suburbs and started attracting high net worth individuals that were seeking exclusive and designer products. Today 95% of Casarredo’s products are Italian. There is an ever increasing opportunity for this type of furniture as the local consumer is becoming more aware of international brands. Italy has a long-standing reputation of being at the forefront of international design.
