Our systematic classes place emphasis on the comprehensive and integrated training of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. We aim to develop the learner's communicative ability in Mandarin Chinese by teaching language structure, function and related cultural knowledge.

It is our firm belief that regular classes are necessary to master a language as challenging as Mandarin Chinese. Learning Mandarin Chinese outside the environment of formal lessons or classes is a task of Herculean proportions. To effectively learn Mandarin Chinese it is recommended that you join proper classes and follow the guidance of a native-speaking Chinese teacher who is competent, motivated and dedicated. In reality, it is doubtful that Westerners could adequately learn Mandarin Chinese from audio CD’s alone, despite marketing promises to the contrary. Audio CD’s are of course a useful learning aid, but can never replace the discipline and complex interaction of regular classes. It is our view that the classroom environment is also more conducive to steady progress than home visits for one-on-one tuition.
