Do you have personal accident insurance Our goal is to ensure that every claim is paid and to ensure that if you are not covered properly, you are fully aware of any gaps in your cover long before a claim occurs So even if you or your employee is injured in a work related accident, if there is a shortfall between the disability benefit paid by COID and the usual earnings of the employee, this will be covered by our policy
This will cover you and/or your employees against any medical expense incurred due to an accident (not illness) not already covered by COID (previously known as Workman’s Compensation.) If you or your employee becomes disabled or dies, the insurance will also pay a lump sum benefit which can be distributed to the beneficiaries. Accident insurance does not restrict the cause of the accident to work related activities. You & your employees will be insured in the event of a motor accident, crime, holiday activity or even domestic injury (for example, injuring themselves whilst attempting home repairs etc.)
