23 September 2015 Health Department KZN EThekwini Health District McCord’s Hospital 28 McCord Rd, Durban, 4001 031 268 5700 To whom it may concern BOTCHED CAESAREAN SECTION WITH IRRECOVERABLE DAMAGE I have visited my local gynae and after 10years of severe menstrual pain 5 miscarriages and heartbreaking loss to my livelihood. I have discovered that my right side ovaries have been severely damaged and the scar tissue overlapping my womb and tubes has left me immensely sick. The gynae has checked my records and found that 10 years ago when I had given birth to my one and only living child, the student gynaes that performed my C-section severely damaged my reproductive system. I am very saddened and with no money to take this up in court my only comfort is in sending this letter out to the people that would help me. Regards “Broken woman”
