The owner, Brigitte Wimbush with a fine art and graphic design background has been in the advertising industry for over twenty years. Spotting a gap in the market, Brigitte started the company as a sideline venture to her small advertising agency.
Astonishingly, what started off as a small venture in a loft, is now the largest scrapbook manufacturer in Africa.

There is always something new from Fabscraps! Established 14 years ago in 2005, Fabscraps have been manufacturing arts and craft products for the south African and global craft industry. Locally manufactured products make-up 95% of the total products produced and only 5 % are sourced overseas.

Brigitte and her team create up to at least 60 new products a month. Their collections include: Scrapbooking and Card making, chipboard die-cuts, journals, embellishments, mixed media, metals, stickers, mini-books, albums, large stencil for wall and floor art , furniture and craft projects. Their fabric lines are 100% cotton designs for the quilting industry, and clothing. Their kits include pre punched quilts (No cutting!), table runners and even oven mitts.
