DT Film Services is a hands-on Production Services company in Durban, South Africa and is the Hiring and Film arm of the DT Global Group. In 2016 the Company expanded and changed names from "DT Broadcast Hires" and morphed into DT Film Services as a greater segment of the local movie industry was gained.
Being around for 21 years has enabled us to gain an incredible amount of experience and clientele. DT Film Services provides premium services including Equipment Rental, Photography, Technical Solutions for TV Commercials and Films as well as Film Crews.

DT Film Services offers a wide range of Equipment and Accessories for the Film and Television industry. We cater for both low end and high end users, for Standard Definition and High Definition production.
We want Durban, South Africa to be one of the top filming locations with the best film crew in Africa as Africa itself is unique in that is has a large emerging market, many of whom have access to government contracts and tenders without the means and equipment to fulfill those contracts. Our hiring facilities brought us into contact with many of these unknown but aspiring young individuals who when starting off their careers, battled to gain entrance to the established market. This motivated the drive to open a further Sales Company Called DT Sales, in order to supply professional, quality equipment at reasonable prices, and in this way bolster the services available within Durban, South Africa.

Our motto, “For the love of the Industry”, lies behind the drive to build locally and raise the Durban profile within the greater Industry community. Our client base extends from the established photographers, freelance videographers to film makers and additionally provides active support to the local film schools such as AFDA and VEGA.
