Hi my name is Armand Spinoy and with a Diploma in Photolithography, have been in the printing industry since 1986. I was honoured to be one of the first people, in South Africa, to be introduced to the Apple Mac and the first version of Adobe Photoshop 1.0. I left Hirt & Carter in 1995 to start my own business, Spin Images. Spin Images has been a recognized name in Cape Town for over 15 years. Spin Images has worked with many of the top Advertising Agencies, locally and internationally, as a photo manipulator and retoucher. Seven years ago, with my expertise and knowledge, I entered the digital Fine Art and Photographic Giclée print market. I do prints for many well known, local photographers and three internationally recognised photographers. These being: David Chancellor (England), winner 2010, the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. Our print of the "Huntress with Buck" is now permanently housed in The National Portrait Gallery, London. Adrian Steirn (Australia), world renowned wildlife photographer and initiator of the 21Icons project, of which I do all his Giclée prints. Harry de Zitter (South Africa), now based in USA and endorsed by Gitzo & Manfrotto. I have prints in a number of well known Art Galleries and Decor shops in and around Cape Town, as well as internationally. I have printed many solo exhibitions and annually, the Cape Town School of Photography Exhibition. For photography students, I offer greatly reduced prices, as in years to come, I hope to do successful solo exhibitions for these individuals.
