It was also nominated for a 2008 South African Film & Television Association Golden Horn Award in the Best Documentary Feature category and KANNA Feature Film Award.MASINDY’S STORY, a 48-minute documentary profile on Masindy Apie, an HIV positive Khayelitsha woman who is a peer counsellor and HIV activist first aired on SABC 2’s Our Nation in Colour in 2005. It received the World TV Award at the Asia Media Summit for the Best Documentary focusing on HIV in 2007 and screened at the Encounters Outreach Festival in 2006, the Apollo Film Festival in 2007 where it received the Best South African Documentary Award and the KKNK Film Festival in 2008.GOOD VIBRATIONS, a 26-minute documentary exploring how different belief systems use sound to connect to the Divine.
