OAKLEY HOUSE SCHOOL caters for children from Grade R to Grade 9 who have specific learning difficulties. We currently teach children with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, speech and language delays, motor difficulties, sensory difficulties, and Asperger’s Syndrome. Some of our children do not have any of these challenges, but just need a small supportive environment in which to learn.
OAKLEY HOUSE SCHOOL specialises in teaching children who have dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, speech and language delays, motor difficulties, sensory difficulties, and Asperger’s Syndrome. Our aim is to provide a complete education whilst enabling learners to develop self-confidence, independence, a sense of responsibility and academic competence across the curriculum. Our priority is to restore confidence and to develop a positive attitude to learning. We achieve this by providing a happy atmosphere with support and understanding for each child’s individual needs. Some of our children do not have any challenges other than needing a small, supportive environment in which to learn.
