Assistant Superintendent “Kubu” Bengu’s elderly father, Wilmon, is murdered. Criminal Investigation Department Director Mabaku excludes Kubu from the investigation, Kubu is furious. Meanwhile, in the small town of Shoshong, the local Chinese-owned mine wants to take over part of the village for an expansion that will generate new jobs.
