Promotion of Access to Information ActALL COMPANIES HAVE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROMOTION OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT, passed in 2007. By December 31 2011 (this past December), in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), all companies had to ensure that manuals on how to access company records be submitted to the South African Human Rights Commission in soft and hard copy. Many companies have not compiled these manuals, nor have they submitted them in any form to the SAHRC. Since inception of the Act, Equity Works has assisted companies with putting these manuals together and submitting them on companies’ behalf.  Please contact us, if you need assistance in both compiling your manuals and submitting them, to ensure compliance.
