CETLAB (PTY) Ltd was established in March 1995 by six (6) independent shareholders as an independent company not affiliated to any consulting engineer or contractor. Ownership of the company changed with effect 1 September 1989 and the company is now known as Unitrade 457 (Pty) Ltd trading as Cetlab. ERO consulting engineers, M.L. Prins and J. Le RouxLABORATORIES Cetlab is committed to the provision of superior testing services and strives to achieve excellence in all services which it provides large or small and obtained ISO 17025 Accreditation (T0460) in November 2010. At present the main commercial laboratory is located in Cape Town. The laboratory is fully equipped for all soils,aggregate, concrete, bitumen and asphalt testing. Cetlab is amongst others involved in projects of SANRAL (South African National Land Agencies) and PAWC (Provincial Administration Western Cape), two of the major road authorities in South Africa and establishes site laboratories where required. STAFF CETLAB Has a staff compliment of some 35 people and is currently managed by Managing director, Martin Prins. CETLABs staff are involved in continuous internal and external training and assessment programs in order to attain the highest technical excellence.
