AfriCork (Pty) Ltd is a South African company supplying engineered cork floors to the southern African market.Not only does Africork offer engineered cork floating floor panels (glueless Uniclic® fixing system) to end-users and retailers but also a complete range of cork products: composition cork sheets, agglomerated cork rolls (underlayment), cork wall and ceiling tiles and panels, and cork floor tiles.A cork floating floor is an engineered product consisting of panels made up of a compact high density fibreboard (HDF) layer, a bonded surface layer of hard-wearing agglomerated cork floor covering and a built-in underlay of soft agglomerated cork.The HDF core material is tongued and grooved with a special profile design to allow the panels to be assembled together manually, without the use of glue. This is also commonly known as the click-in system. The edges of each panel elements are protected by a moisture repellent sealing agent.
